Meet Scott and Jackie Bond, the Owners of The Stables Event Center, who had the courage to pursue their dream!
Scott and Jackie have resided and raised their family in Lafayette over the past 30 years. Their drive to be community-involved has always been a passion of theirs.
Over six years ago when their youngest daughter, Kaitlyn, became engaged, they searched all venues locally to book her wedding. However, the Bonds could not locate a local, rustic venue that could seat 300+ wedding guests. They ended up creating a beautiful wedding on their gorgeous outdoor farming property, which got them thinking.
Shortly after the wedding, Scott and Jackie decided they could provide the community they loved so much with a new event venue. After years of research and planning, The Stables Event Center transformed from a dream to tangible reality! The Stables opened in the Spring of 2019.
